Reputation marketing and review management in Nairobi

More honest reviews, every one answered, and shown where buyers decide.

Gemial Digital runs reputation marketing for businesses whose customers read reviews before they call. The work builds a request flow that asks every customer for a review, answers every review in your voice, and puts the best of them on the pages where people decide to buy. Reporting tracks new reviews, your rating, how fast reviews are answered and what customers keep saying, and every engagement starts with an audit of where your reputation stands now.

See what your reviews are doing for you

  • How your rating and review count compare with the competitors customers also check
  • How many of your reviews are recent, and how many went unanswered
  • Where your reviews could be persuading buyers and are not

In plain terms

Four things decide whether reviews win you customers

Most buyers check reviews before they call, book or visit, and they compare you with whoever sits next to you in the results. A good rating helps, but it is not the whole of it. Four things decide whether your reviews bring customers in or quietly send them elsewhere.

  1. Asked, every time

Most happy customers never leave a review because nobody asked them at the right moment. A request sent by WhatsApp, SMS or email straight after the sale, with a one-tap link, turns satisfied customers into reviews.

  2. Answered, especially the bad ones

Buyers read your replies as closely as the reviews. A calm, specific answer to a complaint often does more for trust than another five stars, and silence reads as not caring.

  3. Recent

A rating built on reviews from two years ago looks like a business that has gone quiet. A steady flow of new reviews tells buyers, and Google, that you are active now.

  4. Shown where buyers decide

Reviews sitting on a Google profile do nothing on your website, where the enquiry is actually made. The best of them belong on your service pages, landing pages and quote forms.

How it works

The sequence, and what lands at each step.

  1. Audit the reviews

We read your reviews and your competitors': rating, volume, how recent they are, what goes unanswered and what customers keep raising. If the audit finds the problem is the service rather than the reviews, it says that.

  2. Fix the profiles

Your Google profile and Facebook page set up so reviewing is easy: the review link found, business details correct, and old unanswered reviews cleared.

  3. Build the request flow

A short request with a one-tap link, sent after each sale by WhatsApp, SMS, email or a QR code at the counter, and automated where your booking or sales system allows.

  4. Answer and show

New reviews answered in your voice, negative ones approved by you first, and the best reviews placed on your website where they support the enquiry.

  5. Report and adjust

Monthly: new reviews, your rating, reply times and the themes customers keep raising, passed to you because they are often about the business, not the marketing.

Why us

Why this works differently.

  • Reviews placed where the sale happens

We build websites and landing pages, so your best reviews go on the pages where people decide to enquire, not only on a profile they may never open.

  • Every customer asked, not only the happy ones

Google's policy prohibits asking only satisfied customers, and filtered requests put the profile at risk. The flow asks everyone, and the replies handle what comes back.

  • A one-time setup when a retainer is not needed

If your team can send the requests and answer reviews themselves, the setup and handover costs less than a monthly fee, and we will say so.

Questions

The things people ask before they commit.

How much does reputation marketing cost?

Reputation marketing with Gemial Digital starts at KES 50,000 a month (roughly $400). That is a floor rather than a package, and what moves it is the number of locations, how many review platforms you use, how many reviews come in each month, and whether requests are automated from your booking or sales system. Month one includes building the request flow and fixing your profiles, with no separate setup fee.

What if I cannot justify a monthly fee?

If your team can send review requests and answer reviews themselves, a monthly retainer is more than you need. For KES 30,000 (roughly $250) we build the request flow, QR codes and reply templates, put your best reviews on your website, and hand it over in a working session so you can run it yourself.

Can you remove negative reviews?

Only reviews that break the platform's own policies can be reported, and the platform decides whether they come down. Nobody can honestly promise to remove a genuine bad review. What works is a calm public reply, fixing the problem with the customer where possible, and a steady flow of recent reviews that puts one complaint in proportion.

Will you write or buy reviews for us?

No. Written, bought or incentivised reviews break the platforms' rules, and Google removes them and can restrict the profile. Every review comes from a real customer.

Do you only ask happy customers?

No. Google's policy prohibits selectively asking satisfied customers, and doing it puts the profile at risk. Everyone is asked, and the replies handle whatever comes back.

Is this the same as local SEO?

No, though they work together. Local SEO, part of our SEO service, ranks your Google Business Profile: categories, citations and local pages. Reputation marketing gets you reviews, answers them and puts them to work on your website. Reviews help local rankings too, so businesses that run both get one plan.

How many reviews will I get?

That depends on how many customers you serve, so no honest agency can promise a number. The flow asks every customer, and the monthly report shows how many asked turned into reviews, so you can see the rate improve.

Who writes the replies?

We do, in your voice, from a set of reply guidelines agreed in month one. Routine replies go out as reviews land. Replies to negative reviews come to you for approval first, because they are the ones buyers read most closely.

How soon will I see results?

New reviews usually arrive within the first weeks of the request flow going live. A change in your rating and in how buyers respond takes a few months of steady reviews, and the monthly report shows whether it is happening.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. It is monthly. Reviews build on consistency, so the first months matter most, but that is a reason to stay rather than a reason to be locked in.

See what your reviews are doing for you.

The audit sets your rating, review volume and replies against the competitors your customers compare you with, and shows where reviews could be working harder. You get the document whether or not you go further.
