Social media management and short-form video in Nairobi

Judged by the messages it brings in, not the likes it collects.

Gemial Digital manages social media for businesses that sell to people who scroll, on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and YouTube Shorts, wherever their customers are. The work covers strategy, short-form video, design, posting and answering comments and messages, planned a month ahead and approved by you before anything goes out. Reporting names the enquiries social brings in and which posts brought them, and every engagement starts with an audit of what your accounts are doing now.

See what your social media brings in

  • Which of your posts actually lead to messages and enquiries
  • Whether your profiles send people anywhere they can buy or book
  • How your accounts compare with the competitors your customers also follow

In plain terms

Four things decide whether a post turns into a customer

Social media is rented attention. The platform decides who sees each post, and it shows more of what people stop for, watch and respond to. Posting often is not what separates accounts that bring in customers from accounts that only fill a feed. Four things are, and most accounts are missing at least one of them.

  1. Made for the feed it runs in

A post designed for Facebook and dropped onto TikTok reads as an advert and gets scrolled past. Each platform has its own format, length and pace, so each post is made for the place it will be seen rather than copied across all of them.

  2. Worth stopping for

The first seconds decide whether anyone sees the rest. Content is built from the questions your customers already ask and the things they want to see before they buy, which is what makes a stranger stop rather than another brand announcement.

  3. Recognisable over time

People rarely buy from the first post they see. They buy from the account they have seen enough times to trust. A steady rhythm, a consistent look and a clear point of view are what turn repeated views into familiarity.

  4. Answered when they ask

Most sales from social start in the comments and messages. An enquiry left for a day is often an enquiry lost to whoever answered first. Replies are part of the service, and sales enquiries are passed straight to you.

How it works

The sequence, and what lands at each step.

  1. Audit the accounts

We look at what you currently post, what people respond to, where enquiries come from and where they go missing. If the audit says social media will not carry your business, it says that.

  2. Fix the profiles

Bios, links, contact buttons, WhatsApp and highlights, set up so attention has somewhere to go. Links are tagged so the website can see which posts sent the visitor.

  3. Plan the month

Content pillars built from what your customers ask, a calendar for the month ahead, and a shot list for every video, whether it is filmed on site or recorded by you. Nothing posts until you have approved it.

  4. Publish and answer

Posts go out in each platform's format, and comments and messages are answered. Sales enquiries come to you rather than waiting in an inbox nobody checks.

  5. Report and adjust

Monthly, in one document: enquiries, the posts that brought them, and what changes next month. The calendar follows what worked, not a template.

Why us

Why this works differently.

  • Posts that lead somewhere

A follower who taps through needs a page built to take the enquiry. We build websites and run the tracking, so the page works and the report can say which post sent the customer.

  • You approve the month before it posts

Nothing goes out in your name unseen. The calendar is ready a month ahead, so you review it once rather than chasing posts every day.

  • We will tell you if you can run it yourself

If your business can record its own videos and follow a clear plan, a one-time setup costs less than a monthly retainer, and we will say so.

Questions

The things people ask before they commit.

How much does social media management cost?

Social media management with Gemial Digital starts at KES 75,000 a month (roughly $600). That is a floor rather than a package, and what moves it is the number of platforms, how much video is in the plan and whether it is filmed on site, how many comments and messages need answering, and whether content runs in more than one language. Any boosting budget is paid directly to the platform on top. Month one includes fixing your profiles, with no separate setup fee. Below roughly 15,000 a month, most of what is sold in Kenya is scheduling a few templated posts, which keeps an account looking active without bringing anyone in.

What if I cannot justify a monthly fee?

If you can record your own videos and post consistently, a monthly retainer is often more than you need. For KES 45,000 (roughly $350) we set up your profiles, content pillars, design templates and a first month's calendar with shot lists, then hand it over in a working session so you can run it yourself.

Do you make the videos?

Yes. We script every video, and it is either filmed on site or recorded by you from a shot list, then edited into finished Reels, TikToks and Shorts. Recording it yourself keeps video inside the monthly fee, and a phone is enough once you know what to shoot. On-site filming moves the fee, because a shoot is a production cost. Either way, footage of your own premises and people tends to earn more trust than polished stock.

Do you run ads as well?

Boosting posts that are already working is included, from a budget you pay the platform directly. Full paid campaigns, with audiences, conversion tracking and landing pages, are our PPC service on its own flat fee. Many businesses run both.

How many posts will I get?

The number is set per platform in the plan, and it is the number we can keep up every week rather than the largest one that fits in a proposal. A steady rhythm does more than a busy month followed by a quiet one.

Which platforms should I be on?

Wherever your buyers spend their time, and usually fewer than you think. Two platforms done well bring in more than five done thinly. The audit recommends where to start from your own accounts.

Who owns the accounts and the content?

You do. Accounts and pages stay in your name, and every video, graphic and caption we make is yours to keep if we stop working together.

How soon will I see results?

Profile fixes work from the day they go live. A consistent account usually takes two to three months to build the familiarity that turns into enquiries, and the monthly report shows whether it is happening.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. It is monthly. Social media builds on consistency, so the first months matter most, but that is an argument for staying rather than a reason to be locked in.

Can you guarantee followers or a viral post?

No, and nobody honestly can. Bought followers make an account worse, because the platform shows your posts to people who will never engage. What is guaranteed is the reporting: each month you will know what was posted, what it brought in, and what changes next.

See what your social media actually brings in.

The audit shows which of your posts lead to enquiries, where interested people drop away, and what your competitors do that you do not. You get the document whether or not you go further.
